General
1.    2010 Asia Cup race has four classes as below.
Jr. Stock Class = Asia Cup Only / Age under 15 years old.
Super Stock Class = Winner will be invited to World Championships
M05 Chassis Class = Winner will be invited to World Championships
4WD GT Class = Winner will be invited to World Championships
F104 Class = Winner will be invited to World Championships.
Past winner can enter this class only.
2.  No driver can enter Super Stock Class again if he becomes A-main driver of past Stock Class because this class is for beginner. No driver can enter Super Stock Class if he enter the other classes of the past Asia Cup, either.
A driver can enter Super Stock Class only twice if he can’t stay in A-main as his first trial of Super Stock Class. ( Past entry for Stock Class should be counted for the entry of Super Stock Class. )
Each driver can get Ticket To Japan only once.
3.    All cars have to be built using only original Tamiya parts and strictly following the instructions provided with those parts.
4.    All parts must be used as supplied in the package and/or cut as outlined. Modifications of the original appearance of the car, are not allowed. In 4WD GT class, Mini chassis class, Jr. Stock class and Super Stock Class, tires and wheels have to stay within the body shell.
5.  Radio crystal must be replaceable. Each driver has to prepare three
different crystals. Use of 2.4G transmitter is accepted except Jr. Stock
Class.
6.  Only Tamiya Motor and ESC (54132-000 Brushless Motor 01 12T and # 45038-000 Brushless ESC 01) can be used. In 4WD GT class , no motor and ESC are handed out from the race organizer.
In Jr. Stock Class, Super Stock Class, M05 Chassis Class, and F104 Class, only one motor will be handed out from the race organizer.
Each Driver can purchase additionally only one motor at the appointed shop around the circuit if he/she wants. For details, please refer to each category’s regulation.
7.    In 4WD GT class, Super Stock Class, F104 Chassis Class, one x LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack(#55102) will be handed out to each driver by the race organizer.
Each driver can purchase extra x LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack at the appointed shop beside the circuit for the race if necessary.
As for LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack, drivers should use this battery with
max. voltage 7.2V. The voltage will be checked by Race Organizer / Inspector before each heat. When the battery’s voltage is over 7.2V, the driver can’t drive its heat.

In Jr. Stock class, two x Racing Pack 1600SP(#55095) shall be handed
out to all drivers by the race organizer.
Each driver can purchase max. two additional Racing Pack 1600SP
at the appointed shop beside the circuit if necessary.
In M05 Chassis Class, two x Racing Pack 2400mAh Zapped (#55086)
will be handed out to each driver by the race organizer.
Each driver can purchase extra max. two Racing Pack 2400mAh Zapped (#55086) at the appointed shop beside the circuit for the race if necessary.
8.  Each driver have to apply one’s ID stickers on Motor / Chassis / Transmitter / Battery. If ID sticker was lost or damaged, driver has to contact organizer immediately.
When there is a heat in which a driver drives his car, battery, motor, and/or transmitter without ID No. sticker or different ID No., that heat will be deleted.
9.  Drivers should be noted that extra inspections of tire inner, motor and other parts may be made during races.
10. Each qualifying race will be 5 minutes plus the time to complete the last lap.
11.    Only modifications outlined in the regulations are allowed.
12.    Any other issues not clarified in the regulations shall be handled at the discretion of the race organizer.
Regarding 49*** series parts, only those “color variations” whose original SP/OP parts are in Parts List., are allowed.
13.     Only a maximum of two chassis per driver featuring an official sticker can be used during practice (they should be the same type chassis). Before qualify, driver have to choose 1 chassis to use. Driver can’t change his chassis during first qualify to finals. In case of accident, driver has to bring spare chassis to organizer and take inspection immediately. Without this procedure, results will be deleted from official record.
14. Transponda:
Though organizer will prepare the transponda for this race, each driver can use his private transponda if he/she wants.
But organizer doesn’t have any responsibility for any problem between
his transponda and organizer’s AMB system. When there happens a kind of un-work problem in a heat, his heat is deleted.
Each class’s min. weight shows the weight with transponda.
15. Start style for Qualify and Final.
At the control practice and all qualifies, we will take Staggered Start Style.
At the Finals, we will take Grid Start Style.
13. After two control practices on Friday, we will regroup each class for Qualify.
We will not regroup again during Qualify.
After all Qualifies, we will regroup for Finals.
14. For Control Practice and Qualifies, we will use each driver’s best time through
all Qualifies to fix the position for Finals. When two or more driver’s best times
are same, we will use the second best time to fix the position among them.
15. For Finals, we will use the point system to fix the position. Each heat winner
will get 1 point, 2nd driver will get 2 points,…… 10th driver will get 10 point.
We will calculate best two points of all the finals to fix the position.
When the total of the best two points are same, we will refer the 3rd points.
When the 3rd points are also same, we will refer the driver’s best time of Finals.

CAR REGULATIONS of 4WD GT
Only TA05, 05R, 05IFS and 05IFS-R, TA05 Ver.2 chassis as well as TB-03 chassis are permitted to be used in this class.
TA05MS chassis and parts designed only for TA05MS can not be used.

1.    One x LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack(#55102) will be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer. Each driver can purchase additional LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack at the appointed shop beside the circuit if necessary. Battery cables can be modified at the bottom of connector to accept other types of speed controller connectors. Wire length must exceed 3cm.
2.    Only Tamiya Motor and ESC (54132-000 Brushless Motor 01 12T and # 45038-000 Brushless ESC 01) can be used. In 4WD GT class , no motor and ESC are handed out from the race organizer.
3.    Cars do not have to be equipped with cockpit detail or a driver figure.

6.    Gear Ratio will be limited as attached list.
Since TA05/TA05IFS also can use the combination of 18T Center Pulley and 37T Ball differential Pulley and TA05IFSR/TA05 Ver.2 can use the combination of 16T Center Pulley and 36T Ball differential Pulley, we will set up the acceptable gear ratio not for the chassis but for the combination for the Center Pulley and Differential Pulley as below.

In the case of the combination of Center Pulley 16T and Ball Differential (Front/Rear) 36T, we will accept the below Gear Ratio.

In the case of the combination of Center Pulley 18T and Ball Differential (Front/Rear) 38T, we will accept the below Gear Ratio.

In the case of TB03 chassis, the previously informed Gear Ratio won’t be changed.

CAR REGULATIONS of Jr. Stock Class
Only TT-01, 01E, 01R chassis are permitted to be used in this class.

1.    Only TEU-101BK/TEU-104BK amplifier is permitted to be used in this class.
2.    Two x Racing Pack 1600SP(#55095) shall be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer.  Each driver can purchase max. two additional Racing Pack 1600SP at the appointed shop beside the circuit if necessary.
No modifications to the battery cables or connectors are allowed.
3.    One standard 540 Motor(#53689) will be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer. Each driver can purchase additional one standard 540 Motor at the appointed shop beside the circuit if he/she wants. Drivers must use the motors as provided including wires. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is prohibited.
4.    Cars do not have to be equipped with cockpit detail and/or a driver figure.
5.    Minimum permissible weight of car when ready to run is 1,480g with a transponder.
6.    Only the following three kinds of tire can be used:
#50419 Celica Racing Radial Tire, #50454 Racing Slick Tires, #50810 Racing Semi-Slick Tires.
As for TT-01R chassis should also use the above tires with 26mm wheels.
7.    Clearance under main chassis parts must exceed 5mm before the race.
8.    Only the wings when they are included in the original kits can be used on the appointed body. They can’t use for the other bodies.
9.    Any parts (except the above) which are available for TT01 / TT01E / TT01R on the matching list will be accepted for this class.
10. 2.4G Transmitter can’t be used in this class.
Only Tamiya’s 27Mhz Transmitter can be used.

CAR REGULATIONS of Mini Chassis Class
Cars eligible for qualification are M05 / M05 Pro. only.

1.     Two Racing Pack 2400mAh Zapped (#55086) shall be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer.  Each driver can purchase max. two additional Racing Pack 2400mAh Zapped (#55086) at the appointed shop beside the circuit if necessary. No modifications to the battery cables or connectors are allowed.
2.    One x #53983 Lightly-Tuned Motor 28T will be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer. Each driver can purchase additional one x #53983 Lightly-Tuned Motor 28T at the shop beside the circuit if he wants. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed.
3.     Minimum weight of car ready to run is 1,230g with a transponder.
4.    Clearance under main chassis parts must exceed 3mm before the race.
5.    Up to 20T pinion gear (16T, 18T, 20T) can be used.

CAR REGULATIONS of Super Stock Class
TA05,, 05IFS and, TA05 Ver.2 chassis as well as TB-03 chassis and TT01 series chassis are permitted to be used in this class.(TA05R, TA05IFS-R can’t be used.)
TA05MS chassis and parts designed only for TA05MS can not be used.

1.    Only TEU-101BK/TEU-104BK amplifier is permitted to be used in this class.
2.    One x LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack(#55102) will be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer. Each driver can purchase additional LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack at the appointed shop beside the circuit if necessary. Battery cables can be modified at the bottom of connector to accept other types of speed controller connectors. Wire length must exceed 3cm.
3.    One x #53068 Sport-Tuned Motor will be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer. Each driver can purchase additional one x #53068 Sport-Tuned Motor at the appointed shop beside the circuit if he/she wants. Drivers must use the motors as provided including wires. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is prohibited.
4.    Cars do not have to be equipped with cockpit detail and/or a driver figure.
5.    Minimum permissible weight of car when ready to run is 1,480g for TT01 series and 1530g for TA05/TB03 series with a transponder.
6.    Cars do not have to be equipped with cockpit detail or a driver figure.
7.    Clearance under main chassis parts must exceed 5mm before the race.
8.    Gear Ratio will be limited as below.
TT01 Gear Ratio  6.03(D)

Spur Gear 58T(OP)
TA05 Gear Ratio  7.16       TB03 Gear Ratio 7.07

9.    TT-01 chassis can be used OP which are on the part matching list.
But TA05seris(TA05, 05IFS, 05 Ver.2) chassis and TB03 chassis should be used only with the parts (SP/OP) included in the original kit.

CAR REGULATIONS of F104 Pro Class
Only F104/F104 Pro/F104W chassis accepted.

1.  One x LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack(#55102) will be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer. Each driver can purchase additional LF2200-6.6V Racing Pack at the appointed shop beside the circuit if necessary. Battery cables can be modified at the bottom of connector to accept other types of speed controller connectors. Wire length must exceed 3cm.
2.    One x #54176 Formula-Tuned Motor (32T) will be handed out to all drivers by the race organizer. Each driver can purchase additional one x #54176 Formula-Tuned Motor (32T) at the appointed shop beside the circuit if he/she wants. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed.
3.     Minimum weight of car ready to run is 1180g with a transponder.
4.    Clearance under main chassis parts must exceed 3mm before the race.
5.    Only the following Gear Ratios are accepted.
04—-93T/25T and 06—-63T/17T

Because we can’t prepare Tire for F103 enough, we should give up F104W
Chassis and the parts for F103 used for F104/F104PRO Chassis.
So we deleted F104W Chassis from this class and deleted some parts from
The Parts Matching List this time.
